Does your student dream of making a difference in the classroom? We are excited to highlight the 3-Step Education Pathway at EHS, designed specifically for students interested in a career in teaching.

If you have an incoming or current freshman, now is the time to start planning for this hands-on career experience! 

The 3-Step Pathway to Teaching

Step 1: Sophomore Year (Child Development)

  • Explore how children grow and learn.
  • Dive into teaching basics to see if education is the right passion.

Step 2: Junior Year (Educational Para Pro)

  • Gain experience in real classrooms.
  • Work one-on-one with students to build leadership and confidence.

Step 3: Senior Year (Careers in Education)

  • Complete an internship in an elementary classroom.
  • Learn to create lesson plans and prepare for college education programs.

If your student is interested, the first step is to sign up for Child Development for their sophomore year!
