The Ellensburg School District is committed to a positive and productive educational and working environment free from discrimination, including sexual harassment. The district prohibits sexual harassment of students, employees, and others involved in school district activities.
Sexual harassment occurs when:
Sexual harassment can occur adult to student, student to adult, student to student, adult to adult, male to female, female to male, male to male and female to female. The district will take prompt, equitable and remedial action within its authority on reports, complaints and grievances alleging sexual harassment that come to its attention, either formally or informally.
The Ellensburg School District has developed policies and procedures to ensure both students and adults can work and learn in an environment free of sexual harassment. Interested in becoming a volunteer for the Ellensburg School District?
Please contact the school, department, or program that you are interested in volunteering for to request a Volunteer Form. Once you have completed and signed the Volunteer Form, please return it, along with a copy of your current Washington State Driver's License, to the school, department, or program that you obtained the form from.
Please Note: If you are interested in volunteering at more than one school, it is not necessary to fill out more than one application. Please note which schools you would like to volunteer for on the Volunteer Application. Your name will be added to each of the databases at the schools you are interested in.
Once your completed Volunteer Form is received by the Personnel Office, we will complete the required background check, and notify the school, department, or program of the results.
Please be advised that the Ellensburg School District does not extend Labor & Industries coverage to volunteers who may become injured while performing as a volunteer.
