Our Home

Mt. Stuart mountain range

Ellensburg is nestled between the Cascade Mountain range and the Columbia River in the heart of Washington state. The county seat of Kittitas County, Ellensburg has a population of approximately 20,000, though this number grows each fall with the arrival of Central Washington University (CWU) students. CWU is the largest employer in Kittitas County and joins many city and county organizations, agencies and businesses in partnership with and in support of our public schools.  This historic city is known for its vibrant arts scene, community events, thriving agricultural, abundant outdoor activities, and quality education.
